Kickstarter suspends Gmod (Update: Gmod issues statement)

“Even if this was related to the naming confusion — we dont know because Kickstarter has failed to be communicative — the suspension is unjustified because Olympus Games was using its registered trademark and GMOD brand of more than 8 years. Regardless, we’ve already stated that we would rather rebrand than risk confusing either the Garry’s Mod or GMOD community and we want to reassure our Kickstarter backers that everything is progressing smoothly with the development of our upcoming mod management platform.
