In 1962, Carole King and Howard Greenfield created "Crying in the Rain"—the emotional anthem chronicling a subtle sulk fest—made famous by the clean-cut country rock duo, The Everly Brothers. A-ha put a grand, New Wave twist on this track in 1990, but thanks to the Brooklyn-based Chapin Sisters, "Crying in the Rain" has retained its sixties two-part harmony and sweet sentiment, now with an inventive feminine twist. (Read More)
