A series of almost-forgotten children's books illustrated by Sir Quentin Blake are looking for a new lease of life on crowd-funding website Kickstarter1. The UNCLE series, by J.P. Martin, was originally published in the 60s and 70s to great acclaim, but has largely slipped into obscurity. Described as "A great comic masterpiece" by Richard Ingrams2 and with other high-profile fans including Will Self and Spike Milligan, the rarer books sell for upwards of £500 a copy3. (Read More)
