The Cesium 133 atomic wristwatch heads to Kickstarter

April 17th - via: gizmag.com
There are plenty of atomic watches available that can keep time accurately by receiving a radio signal from an atomic clock, but there hasn't ever been a true atomic wristwatch which boasts its own atomic clock. Until now. Enter the Cesium 133 from Bathys Hawaii, an early steel-bodied prototype of which we first spotted in October 2013. (Read More)

Bathys Cesium 133 Atomic Clock Watch Now On Kickstarter

April 11th - via: ablogtowatch.com
Bathys is, without a doubt, one of the more unique American watch brands currently in operation. We know this because out of nowhere they developed the world's first atomic clock wrist watch. Prior to last year, it was sort of an idiosyncratic brand, with those who knew of the brand singing it's high praises (but more weren't even aware of their watches). That all changed in late 2013, when news of them creating a watch accurate to 1 second in 1000 years began to come out. (Read More)
