Kickstarter Week End. What Launched Aug 3 – 9?

August 11th - via: cliqist.com
Every week (starting now at least) we take a brief look at all of the Kickstarter campaigns that launched in the previous week. This isn’t to say that all of these projects are worth your hard earned cash, but with any luck having all of them in one place will make it easier to educate yourself on the projects you’d like to back, and which ones to run from. The Story of War Through New Eyes in The Sun Also Rises

August 8th - via: cliqist.com
War is a difficult subject for many people because… I mean, it’s war, guys, it has horrible effects on everyone involved. Many people who have been through the worst of it are reluctant to share their experiences, and those of us who’ve never been through something that traumatic probably can’t even imagine the amount of damage war can do, so it’s difficult for us to form an understanding of it. War is war. People kill each other and various things explode, but there’s much more to it than that, and The Sun Also Rises is trying to bridge the gap between those of us who’ve seen mankind at its worst and those of us who have trouble even imagining it. (Read More)
