Soda Drinker Pro creator Will Brierly recently revealed that the soda-drinking simulator has an experimental game hidden inside it called Vivian Clark, and he launched a Kickstarter campaign for the latter title yesterday. Just before that I was a cell inside someone’s head, and upon entering their nerves, I ended up in another world, where I was jumping with springy legs. Have I mentioned that I live for games like Vivian Clark before? There’s nothing that gets me more excited than a game with a deliberately oddbag aesthetic, packed with loads of random and crazy mini-games to venture through that have some surreal logic connecting them all. Revenge of the Sunfish is the most notable of these kinds of games, and Vivian Clark bears some resemblances, though it’s seemingly more organized, and thus more “gamey,” if that’s a viable term I can use. (Read More)
