It’s gotten to the point that it actually makes me cringe a little whenever I see it, because most of the time it’s a red flag for “we tried to emulate how great this series was but we kinda failed so we’ll ship it as a ‘love letter’ instead of a ‘good game’ because it turns out we’re not so great at this sort of thing.” It very rarely feels genuine. (Read More)
