Sabine: Sound Amplification for the iPad, With an Apple-like Feel

March 25th - via: aspotter.com
Sabine is a very simple amplifier for the iPad. It uses a minimalist design that matches the look and feel of an Apple product. It’s made of anodized aluminum just like the back casing of the iPad. Because it’s made out of aluminum, it has better reflective properties than plastic. The curvature matches that of the iPad’s back, and the team went through several prototypes to get it just right. (Read More)

Sabine, the Most Elegant Sound Amplifier for iPad

March 15th - via: minidigita.com
Recently, sound amplifiers for mobile devices have been very popular, especially on Kickstarter. But up until now, all of them have been made cheaply with plastic and it just doesn’t look good with Apple products. Instead, the plastic can even make the iPad look worse, which is why this project was created! The Sabine is the highest quality sound amplifier I’ve yet seen, for the iPad, made with high-quality materials and processes. (Read More)

Sabine wants to enhance your iPad speaker

March 9th - via: idownloadblog.com
We all cup our hands behind the iPad when trying to hear our favorite music or videos. I often found the speaker on iPad to be lacking and I even backed a project on Kickstarter last year trying to remedy this problem. Unlike the product I backed last year, the Sabine is anodized aluminum to match Apple’s design aesthetic. Additionally, aluminum is a more reflective surface and amplifies sound at a much higher rate. Today, I take a look at 7decibels’ Sabine final production prototype. (Read More)

Amplify iPad Rear-Facing Speaker With Sabine

March 8th - via: padgadget.com
Cupping sound waves to amplify their volume is an old trick, but with Sabine (pronounced SUH-bīne — rhymes with time, not team), an iPad audio accessory, this ageless approach to better sound fits perfectly with the iPad’s modern sheen. Developer 7Decibels turned to Kickstarter to bring Sabine to the masses. (Read More)

Turn Your iPad’s Volume Up To 11 With This Simple Sound Amplifier

March 4th - via: appadvice.com
I’ve always been a fan of simple and inexpensive Kickstarter projects that improve iOS devices. And the Sabine is one of those. But the Sabine is designed to save the day by being a high-quality, yet inexpensive, sound amplifier. (Read More)
