Kickstarter Picks: Chroma Squad, Candle, and more!

August 2nd - via: gamezebo.com
We love seeing projects successfully meet their Kickstarter goals, even if it means we didn’t get a chance to write about them.  This week, League of Legends-inspired Project Ward was on our radar, but met its funding goal only 12 hours after launch.  (It’s still worth supporting if you need to reveal the fog of war in your home.)  Luckily, there’s no shortage of worthwhile and in-need projects to talk about: this week includes a Power Rangers-style sim, a top-notch documentary, and a CRPG that could be the second coming of Ultima Online. (Read More)

Financie isso: Chroma Squad, novo game dos brasileiros da Behold Studios

August 1st - via: tecnoblog.net
(Read More)

Android Kickstarter Wrapup: Life, Death and War.

July 31st - via: gamewoof.com
The amount of Android related Kickstarters are astronomical. Most of them aren’t games, but gadgets that run from the confounding to the amazing. One that caught my eye was a bracelet smart device charger. It takes those slap wrist that you probably remember from (a) your childhood if you are around my age, or (b) their recent but short lived Hipster revival and combines it with a cell phone charger. I’m not sure which of the two categories it belongs in but I kind of want one. (Read More)

Kickstarter Katchup – 28th July 2013

July 28th - via: rockpapershotgun.com
Two big wins this week and both are projects that I’ve been intrigued by since I first saw them. Excellent news. (Read More)

Kickstarter: Chroma Squad, A Sentai Studio Management Sim!

July 24th - via: holdtheline.com
So, the dudes that made Knights of Pen & Paper are making a new game. It's another meta jawsome piece of meta, where you run a TV studio filming Super Sentai TV series (if you don't know what "Sentai" means, Power Rangers are the americanized version of these), and you have to co-manage running the studio and managing the actors AND managing the in-universe plots, hero abilities and so on! Pretty nifty, huh? (Read More)
