nuplug surge protector attaches to furniture for easier charging

May 13th - via: gizmag.com
Keeping smart devices charged becomes increasingly difficult as we acquire more of them, and as they become more powerful. We've seen a slew of products hit the market with the only goal of keeping devices charged, such as VOTO, SOSCharger, and Tarot. A new product called the nuplug has a similar goal, but instead of trying to keep them charged on the go, it's meant to make charging at home a more comfortable experience. (Read More)

Innovative: Nuplug Portable Extension Cord can be attached to Furniture

May 7th - via: gizmodiva.com
Nuplug, is a new plug that will easily replace your old-school power strip by conveniently attaching onto any piece of furniture. It’s a great idea that makes it easy to sit in the remotest of personal spaces without having to worry about plugging your smartphones and gadgets in. You don’t have to think twice about sitting or lazing anywhere you like with your gadgets for company. I can think of my backyard, on the big wooden chaise longue, a cuppa in hand and a good movie under the sun. The nuplug is like a portable power strip that can clamp onto various surfaces (e.g. table leg, workbench, etc.) ; includes a surge-protected extension cord that’s 10 feet long, as well as two AC power outlets and two USB ports on its adjustable clamp. (Read More)

NuPlug: Add an AC Outlet and USB Ports to Your Couch or Bed

May 7th - via: gadgetreview.com
The traditional surge protector is a cumbersome piece of kit that by most accounts can be pretty unsightly. They also have a tendency to move around, gather dust, and aren’t a good resolve for those looking to streamline their work or living room environment. Don’t get me wrong. They’ve got their place behind home theater stands and those alike, but any thing beyond and they’re just aggravating to look at. (Read More)

Nuplug Is A Convenient Extension Cord Which Attaches To Any Furniture

May 7th - via: ubergizmo.com
When you’re relaxing after a long day of work, we know you probably like to relax while using a tablet, smartphone or laptop sitting on your couch with your television on. One problem we’re sure you’ve experienced on a regular basis is being able to use your devices while keeping them plugged into your wall, especially if they desperately need a recharge. The nuplug is hoping to provide you with a more accessible outlet that will finally allow you to enjoy your gadgets while relaxing. (Read More)

Portable Extension Cord Attaches to Any Piece of Furniture

May 7th - via: mashable.com
An extension cord designed for smart devices aims to replace your old-school power strip by conveniently attaching onto any piece of furniture. Rather than reaching behind a nightstand to plug in your tablet or climb down from a bunk bed to plug in your smartphone, the nuplug is like a portable power strip that can clamp onto various surfaces (e.g. table leg, workbench, etc.). (Read More)

NuPlug

May 5th - via: wasabimountain.com
At it's simplest explanation the Nuplug is an extension cord that clamps on to your furniture. It has two USB plugs with enough amperage to charge most USB devices along with two power outlets facing in opposing directions so large DC converters wont interfere with each other. The defining feature is a silicone padded clamp that is integrated into the Nuplug, this allows you to access the outlet without moving furniture, by clamping it in a location close to where you need it. (Read More)
