Buddy & Me – Reviewed

May 23rd - via: cliqist.com
Every night he drifts off into sleep peacefully and awakens in a special, familiar place. A forest, but not just any forest, no, a magical forest in which the boy explores seemingly endlessly. His room has been detached from his house and suddenly it rests high in a tree canopy. When the boy awakens, he is greeted by a friend by the name of Buddy, a magical creature with the ability to fly. Buddy is a bit of a protective companion that flies around with the boy to ensure his safety and, well, because they’re best friends. Why does the boy return to this sacred place night after night? In Buddy & Me, we find out. (Read More)

April 21st - via: nintendolife.com
Sunbreak Games - the development studio founded by former Metroid Prime developer Jason Behr - recently ran a Kickstarter campaign for its upcoming title Buddy & Me, which is headed to mobile and tablet devices. Buddy & Me Wii U eShop Version Added As Kickstarter Stretch Goal

April 13th - via: nintendolife.com
Behr revealed at the time that a Wii U eShop edition of the game was a possibility, but wasn't officially on the cards. However, he has since gotten in touch to inform us that as a result of the intense amount of interest he and his company have received in the game, they've added a Wii U eShop version as a stretch goal. $55,000 is the target for that particular reward — the funding currently stands at $14,150 with a week remaining. The base goal is $40,000, so there's clearly a long way to go at this stage. (Read More)
