1Lss Launches MagBak for iPad

July 25th - via: desirethis.com
Los Angeles based startup 1Lss recently launched its first product MagBak, through the popular crowd funding website Kickstarter.com. MagBak has been labeled as the world’s thinnest mount for iPad. It’s so thin, it is difficult to ever guess it is a mount. It inherently mounts to most metal surfaces without adding any significant bulk or thickness to the device. For mounting on non-metal surfaces, a metal o-ring is provided to attach to the wall. (Read More)

MagBak just might be the world's thinnest iPad mount

July 24th - via: gizmag.com
Mounts for iPad are thick on the ground, but the creators of MagBak are looking to stand out from the crowd with a slimmed down approach to attaching the tablet to any surface that also keeps the Smart Cover closed and provides a convenient grip. In fact, the MagBak so thin, it doesn't even look like it's meant to mount an iPad at all, which is exactly what the designers were aiming for. (Read More)

MagBak Kickstarter project is an interesting new iPad accessory

July 23rd - via: pocketables.com
The Smart Cover for the iPad is great, but the lack of magnets on the back of the iPad to keep the cover attached to the back when the iPad is in use is annoying. That’s why I currently use a back cover for my iPad mini that I modified with magnets to grab the cover. It works great, is one of my all time favorite mods, and it just fixes an issue that should never have been there to begin with. (Read More)
