REBUILDING EDEN WITH CATS
June 2nd - via: pixelsperiod.blogspot.com
When I started getting hot and heavy in rummaging through Kickstarter for games and projects to support, one of the titles that I threw my money at was a title called Empire Eden by a small developer out of College Station, TX called New Horizon Gaming, LLC. Great pixel art and animation. A very modern meets retro concept in look and story. Tech VS Nature. Old Ways VS New. I wanted this game. (Read More)
Kickstarter Katchup

A few winners, a few losers and a heap of new entries. It’s a busy week and there are quite a few projects that people have contacted me about that aren’t included, even though I’m interested in them. I’ll do some individual posts on those over the next couple of days but, for now, feast your eyes on the contents of the Katchup at the breadth of gaming delights that it contains. Then feel a bit morose that Rogue System probably isn’t going to be on your computer for a long time. (Read More)

Kickstarter Katchup – 3rd March 2013
March 3rd - via: rockpapershotgun.com
There haven’t been any ‘losers’ in the Katchup for a while, partly because projects that are moving very slowly tend to be removed before they run out of time, and partly because there haven’t been quite as many small projects to cover. The list of ‘players’ is increasing rapidly though and even though the first comment will undoubtedly be from somebody reminded me of a game that I’ve missed, there are plenty of things to see. However, the influx of new entrants is balanced somewhat by this week’s losers. One is a small, surreal project, the other is a grander and more direct proposition. The creators of both have vowed to continue their work in some form. (Read More)
