Bee and PuppyCat: The Series
Natasha Allegri's animated short Bee and PuppyCat won our hearts and now Cartoon Hangover's Frederator Studios wants to turn it into a full series. The goal is to produce six six-minute episodes, with the first to be released in summer 2014. The team is offering various digital perks, including ringtones, access to the backers blog, the soundtrack, and episode downloads at various reward levels.
Obduction
It's been 20 years since Myst first invited players to lose themselves in its immersive world, and now Cyan, the makers of Myst and Riven, are working on the spiritual successor to these games, Obduction:

Why is there an old, abandoned farmhouse - complete with white picket fence - in the middle of an alien landscape? You'll find out. From this point on the story becomes your story.

Undead zombies may be the stuff of movies, but some bodies continue to have adventures long after death. J. Pednaud's book After Life: True Tales of the Wandering Dead recounts the odd adventures of corpses and body parts that have been bought and sold, treated as royalty, and ended up as props and sideshow attractions.
