There is a new game project on Kickstarter and it goes by the name of “PULSAR: Lost Colony.” The developers have made this game to be a cooperative starship simulator that takes the gamer along with his crew in a formidable and captivating quest for the Lost Colony.

Every voyage brings to light a unique galaxy that players must explore in order to find clues that will bring them closer to Lost Colony. The journey can last somewhere between 30 seconds to 30 hours, therefore it all depends on the user's skills.

The small and independent studio Leafy Games, decided to have the game released in the summer of 2014 with a closed alpha test that begins in February of the same year.

The game will support the Oculus Rift and even Xbox and 360 gamepad. They goal is to reach $40.000/€29.581 by Thursday, October 31.

The product has been designed so that it offers the player the possibility of an extraordinary multiplayer experience, up to five players. Of course, if one wishes to play offline with AI bots as their crew, one can do so.

As key features, “PULSAR: Lost Colony” brings forth up to 12 incredible starships across a number of playable factions. Therefore, the gamer can notice that it supports a variety of play styles, each journey beginning in a different galaxy.

The challenge level is quite diverse, the user being able to choose from the Captain’s Challenge or the Academy Challenge and so many more.

Other features, like having an intense single-player adventure with AI that actually learns from you or five classes with multiple upgrade paths, will also be available.

Something that will surely be a treat is the soundtrack. For the “PULSAR: Lost Colony” developers, music is quite important. Therefore, they are creating a soundtrack that will match the game, by capturing the substance of each and every faction.

Their primary goal is to obtain the sum earlier mentioned to get things started. Their secondary goal is to further extend the game, improving the soundtrack, translating it into several languages and even make it available for next-generation consoles.

They also desire to create custom/large galaxies, so that the player can actually create new immense galaxies for him to discover. Another interesting idea, is that of “PulsarEdit."

This feature allows users to create whatever ships they want, different scenarios and even planets, depending on every player's imagination. The intention of the developers is to have “PulsarEdit” released as an open-source software for Mac, Windows and Linux.

If you care to pledge your support, a number of rewards are available. It can start from paying $5/€ 3,69 and having your name in the credits as a supporter to paying $5000/ € 3697 and receiving the title of "Faction Designer."
