Mighty No. 9 Kickstarter closes with $3.8 million

Crowdfunding for Mega Man spiritual successor Mighty No. 9 has ended, with a cumulative total of over $4 million raised.

Although the Kickstarter closed with $3,845,170, additional pledges of at least $186,380 made through PayPal bring the total to over $4 million.

Mighty No. 9 was originally announced for PC, but generous over-funding secured PlayStation 3, Wii U and Xbox 360 releases. The campaign also recently passed a stretch goal enabling 3DS, PS4, Vita and Xbox One ports.

Inti Creates posted a concept video built in Unreal Engine giving a very vague idea of how the game might look; it isn't a development build so shouldn't be seen as indicative of the finished product.

Thanks, Polygon.
