Developer Pencil Test Studios and Doug TenNapel, the creator of Earthworm Jim and The Neverhood, are aiming to get funding for a new project called Armikrog via Kickstarter.

The game will star “a space explorer named Tommynaut and his blind alien, talking dog named Beak-Beak. They crash land on a weird planet and end up locked in a mysterious fortress called Armikrog.”

The team is aiming to create a deep adventure title that mixes stop motion animation and sculpting in order to bring the game world and its protagonists to the screen.

It will feature an immersive world and some clever puzzle design, along with plenty of clay.

Armikrog has two days left for its funding drive and the team needs to get from its current total of 716,000 dollars (544,000 Euro) to 900,000 dollars (684,000 Euro)

More than 14,000 people have backed the project so far and you can also contribute via Kickstarter.
