Sportsfriends pre-orders open, offer alpha builds

Get your hands on some of the best local co-op games on the indie scene - heck, anywhere - by buying in early to Sportsfriends.

The Kickstarter-funded bundle contains a number of games you might have heard of if you pay attention to coverage of indie gamejams and festivals - Hokra, Super Pole Riders, BaraBariBall and the hilarious Johann Sebastian Joust.

Several games media feuds have been born in the elbow-swinging melee of Johann Sebastian Joust, as well as some spectacular bruises.

Sportsfriends won't release until sometime in northern autumn, but you can pre-order now for $30.

The collection is coming to Linux, Mac, PC and PlayStation 3, and regardless of which platform you order for, you'll score a Windows alpha build of the first three games and a Mac version of Johann Sebastian Joust.

Thanks, Shack News.
