The new publication will bring together all 12 issues of the comic into a 480-page tome along with exclusive art books and other bonus finds. The accompanying art books will feature contributions from comic artists including Ivan Rodriguez, Gabriel Andrade and Christian Zanier.

Providence Compendium blends Lovecraftian horror with American social history. The story follows writer Robert Black as he travels across New England finding occult inspiration for a novel in the early 20th century. On the way, he encounters monsters and outsiders fighting to be heard in a changing America. Moore spent six months researching Lovecraft before writing and explores social upheaval, outsiders and early 20th-century history in the story.

Spring 2021 will see the release of the complete series for the first time, with Avatar Press producing the limited-edition publication. The compendium will be available through most retailers in 2021, but the hardcover copies and other exclusives are only available through Avatar Press.

Providence was originally published in single issues through Avatar Press between 2015-2017. The story functions as a prequel and sequel to Moore's other H.P Lovecraft-inspired worksNeonomicon and The Courtyard.

The Providence Compendium Kickstarter is currently at $85,239 and 17 days away from the end of its campaign.
