Yesterday, the Kickstarter page for Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes officially went live and was seeking $500K. It didn't take long and it surpassed the goal and has continued to rise. The number of backers now sits at over 13,000 (Update: it went up past 14,000 while writing this) with 31 days still to go before the crowdfunding process ends. But what if you want to listen to a sneak peek at the OST?

The game is being created by ex Suikoden staff and has Yoshitaka Murayama and Junko Kawano at the helm. And yesterday a video was published showing a sample of the soundtrack from the game and has been composed by Motoi Sakuraba. You'll probably be familiar with Motoi Sakuraba's work over the many years in video game soundtracks, but to keep things more modern, his work includes Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Dark Souls, Tales of Xillia and loads more.

The soundtrack boasts a rather epic sound starting off gentle and swelling to an orchestral explosion of music. This soundtrack will be in the game itself, but Kickstarter backers will be able to nab a CD version or even a vinyl version. The soundtrack will also feature music from Michiko Naruke.

It's also detailed that there are some possible composers who might be jumping on board to help shape the soundtrack for Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. While this "list" includes on Procyon Studios, it looks as if the team plans to get more composers on board. As stated, Procyon Studios is listed and also appear to have already composed some background music for when a character runs through a field.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is a brand new JRPG that looks to include 100 characters within the story and will be heading to PC at the minimum goal with plans to launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X due to the stretch goals being successfully reached.
