Twin brothers create special ice pack to help people with back pain

Teenage twin brothers in Marlboro have created a special ice pack to help people with back pain.
Ben and Zach Schneider invented “Spine Ice” during the quarantine. It is a lumbar support ice pack that molds to the user’s back and lasts longer than the average ice pack.
The teens say that the invented the item with their father in mind to help with his lower back pain.
“He would use two techniques to remedy the problem, was is a rolled towel and an ice pack. The problem with the ice pack is that it would only stay frozen for 20 minutes, which is not good on long trips, so we developed Spine Ice, which stays frozen for up to five hours,” says Ben.
The teens have raised more than $3,400 on Kickstarter. They say that their goal is to raise $3,600 by Aug. 9 so that they will be able to manufacture and distribute the product.
