Chip Theory Games' Cloudspire released to critical acclaim in 2019. The game takes concepts from the MOBA genre and puts them into a board game. The original Kickstarter campaign raised over half of a million dollars, and now the team is back with a reprint. Of course, it can't just be a straight reprint. Chip Theory Games has added a bunch of new content along with it. Check it out below.

Obviously, the big news here is the Cloudspire reprint. If you missed out on it the first go-around and think it sounds up your alley, this is a great chance to jump in. It is an excellent solo game, winning multiple awards in that category last year. However, the new campaign also includes two new factions for you to pick up. Both The Uprising and Horizon's Wrath look like fun to play though I won't know for sure until I get my hands on them. Alongside the new factions are a few extra solo and co-op scenarios for veteran players to tackle.

If you're on the lookout for a game that works great when you can't get a playgroup together, Cloudspire might be worth a look. I'm not usually much of a solo gamer, but there's only one game I've played solo more. Veteran readers of my board games news posts will likely assume I'm talking about Gloomhaven, and they couldn't be more correct. That said, coming in second place to a game like Gloomhaven is certainly nothing to be ashamed of. Cloudspire is a solid game in its own right and well-worth your time.

If you're interested in backing Cloudspire, the campaign is available on Kickstarter for nine more days at the time of this writing. Give it a look if you're a MOBA fan.
