EVERSPACE 2 Gets Fully Funded On Kickstarter With An Extra Perk

One of the most ambitious Kickstarter accounts has to belong to ROCKFISH Games with their successful campaign for Everspace 2. With a goal amount set for $493k USD, they managed to reach this goal with an end rally push that helped to bring the finishing total earned to $560,069 USD by 7,979 backers! This astonishing amount that was raised means that they have also managed to unlock the first stretch goal listed, even if it was only managed within the literal final minutes.

Thanks to the successful campaign, not only can players expect to see what is likely to be one of the best open-world styled space exploration and fighting games, but they can enjoy the wonders of “The Ancients’ Rift.” This stretch goal may not be apparent during your first playthrough, but because it was reached daring space pilots can look forward to extra valuable loot and increasingly difficult challenges in the end game.

On top of this, if you were one of those who backed the campaign at the Standard Edition or above levels, then you can look forward to playing the prototype version of Everspace 2 that has already been shown at multiple gaming events. It will be available sometime within December 2019, but there is no current news on an expected full launch date, aside from the 2021 date on their Steam page. At least we know it is definitely going to happen AND there will be a playable version out soon for us to really see what all this money is about to go in to!
