Rype GO helps you speak a new language on day one

Until recently, learning a new language meant burying your head in a textbook. Rype GO takes a more practical approach, based around conversations. The app can help you speak with confidence on day one.

Learn a language with Rype GO
  • Why should you learn a second language? It allows you to make friends around the world and experience different cultures.
  • What is the best way to learn a new language? Through conversation. This can be face to face, or with the help of technology.
  • Do language learning apps actually work? Yes, many do. Rype GO is the latest kid on the block, providing language learners with conversation practice.

Many of us have bad memories of language learning at school. Through the haze of time, you may remember a combination of endless chalk scribbles and dense textbooks. It’s amazing that anyone came out speaking Spanish, French, or anything else really. Thankfully, times have changed. Rype GO is the latest way to learn — this app is built around conversations, meaning you can start speaking a new language on day one.

How do you learn a new language without books?

day one 01

Rype GO takes a new approach

Just like you would in the country of origin for that language. You learn a few words, and practice those in conversation. Over time, you pick up new vocabulary and start to feel more confident when chatting with native speakers.

Of course, not everyone has the opportunity to move abroad. But with Rype GO, you can get a similar experience on the way to work each day.

Lessons take just 5-10 minutes

This innovative app uses artificial intelligence to chat with you. First, you listen to a short five-minute video lesson. Then, you dive straight into a conversation. The app uses speech recognition to pick up your voice and formulate a response. And if you’re in some place where you can’t speak, you can chat via text instead.

Rype GO is pretty intuitive

The conversations tend to focus on practical topics that you will encounter in real life. For instance, you learn how to greet your Airbnb host or ask someone out on a date.

Rype GO focuses on useful vocabulary

Rype GO also allows you to practice your new language skills without fear of being judged. As a result, you can focus on getting it right.

1-to-1 coaching

In addition to the intelligent chatbots, Rype GO gives you access to professional language teachers. Through the app, you can easily book face-to-face video lessons at a time that suits you.

day one 04

There are three language to choose from

At launch, Rype GO will help you learn Latin American Spanish, US English and French. However, there are six more languages in the pipeline.

“Rype GO is reinventing the way we learn a new language by using AI-powered speaking lessons to help you speak confidently, without feeling judged.”

“We’ve produced over 250+ video lessons in our studio at 4K resolution. Every video lesson is interactive, informative, and beautifully produced to keep you engaged.” — Rype GO on Kickstarter

What we ❤️

Instead of diving into grammar and presenting long lists of words, Rype GO helps you learn through experience. It’s both more effective and a lot more fun than textbook learning.

Future upgrades

Once the app has launched, the next languages to be added will be German, Italian, Korean, Portuguese, Mandarin Chinese, and Japanese.
