The past year has been a wild one one for Packers legend Jerry Kramer.

He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame and now a movie is being made about him.

"You can if you will. You can if you will."

The closing words to Jerry Kramer's Hall of Fame induction speech last summer are also the title of a movie currently in production about his life and the principles he learned from Vince Lombardi.

"It's a message I believe in and I have lived. So I'm tickled to pass it on and let other people know about it," Packers legend and Pro Football Hall of Famer Jerry Kramer said.

Indie filmmaker Glenn Aveni is the director and a producer on the film, which has been in production since Kramer's Hall of Fame induction last year.

"It's a real honor for me growing up in Milwaukee and being around the Lombardi Packers and reading the book Instant Replay as a young boy, I just thought this would be an amazing opportunity," Glenn Aveni, the film's director and producer said.

Aveni is using kickstarter to fund the movie.

The first portion is out of his pocket, but the rest has come from Packers fans.

"I knew that Jerry, because he has such a close relationship with his fans, I figured if we reached out to them for the finishing funds." Aveni said.

"We're not going for a lot. About 60 grand is what we need to finish the film."

That goal of a little more than $60,000 has to raised by July 20th in order for the movie to be distributed this fall.

"I'm pumped," Kramer said. "I'm saving a little emotion so I don't get invested too heavily. But I'm really excited about it."

"Again, it's a chance to maybe impact a few lives and encourage a few folks who are sitting on the decision making process."

"One quote that I've always loved is don't things right some of the time. Do them right all of the time," Aveni said. "That's really what we want to put into the film so we can inspire people on many different levels."

For Kramer, this past year has meant so much to him, especially the fan support.

"The response from the fans has been overwhelmingly positive and complimentary," Kramer said.

"The Packers fans are just sensational. They're beyond description really. Can't quantify them. They've been behind me for a long, long time."
