On Thursday, Talegames' Kickstarter campaign ended for their 8-bit inspired action-adventure game Faeland.  The campaign that started last month had an initial goal of $29,000.  As of this writing, the game has exceeded that goal and raised $57,384.

On the Kickstarter page, Talegames wrote about how grateful they are for all the support and feedback the game has received since the start of the campaign. In addition, they posted today that a Late Backing Platform is now live.  So, if you were thinking about contributing to Faeland, but never got around to it, you can still donate through PayPal.

Obviously, the more you contribute, the more prizes you will get.  The following are listed on the game's website, but you are not limited to these amounts:

  • $19.00
    • Access now the "Game Prototype" Build
    • A "Thank You" on the Game's Credits
    • Digital Download (Steam or GoG/DRM-free) for Win, Mac & Linux
    • Welcome Kit: 2 HD Wallpapers + PDF Instructions Manual
  • $25.00
    • Everything included with the previous tier
    • Early Access
  • $39.00
    • Everything included with the previous tier
    • Digital Download of OST (all formats).
    • Art Book in PDF

The goal of the developers now is to raise enough money to bring Faeland to consoles in addition to PC, Mac, and Linux. They also want to release an early access version of the first chapter of the game. You can head over to their website if you'd like to contribute.
