On the 1st of March, I reported that Third Editions' second Kickstarter project was now available; fifteen days later, the project was successfully funded with a new book goal added if the campaign reached a specific amount of funds. Well, today, I am happy to announce that the French book publisher has successfully reached the aforementioned milestone on its crowdfunding campaign.

This news comes directly from Third Editions themselves; the team has contacted me personally as well as made the announcement public via its Kickstarter page. Since this milestone was reached, in addition to translating the three books initially announced in the project, Third Editions will now work on an English translation of The Work of Taro Yoko: From Drakengard to NieR: Automata.

The Work of Taro Yoko: From Drakengard to NieR: Automata is a book dedicated to the unique work of Taro Yoko and includes a foreword penned by the Japanese director himself, as well as a QnA between Mr. Yoko and the book’s author, Nicolas Turcev.

Of course, in my original report, the Taro Yoko book goal needed to reach $123,000, however, Third Editions decided to unlock the goal when the campaign reached $110,851. Of course, this is not the only milestone worth noting, throughout the month, the company has maintained consistent communication with the backers. Additionally, another crowdfunding goal, including eBooks and the Third Editions newspaper to name a few.

Currently, the Kickstarter project has reached $113,001 with six days left until the campaign officially concludes. Although we have a lot of goodies coming from this campaign, there is still one more stretch goal that has yet to be reached. What we do know about the final stretch goal is a "Backers' Poll New Book," and will be unlocked if the campaign reaches $172,477.
