The conceit of the show sees human host, Jonah Ray, trapped in the Satellite of Love forced to watch a never-ending cycle of bad B-movies.

Netflix has been unstoppable in terms of producing original shows and retelling already existing stories. Recently, Ellen Page was cast in Netflix’s live-action adaptation of Gerard Way‘s ‘Umbrella Academy’ graphic novel series of the same name.

Meanwhile, Netflix recently revealed plans to release 80 original films in 2018. The entertainment company plans to spend $8 billion on original content over the next year.
