The TapIt Cap Kickstarter Turns Your Beer Growler Into A Keg (VIDEO)

If you are lucky, you live near a beer store that fills growlers. The growler, a 64-ounce glass jug, is a perfect way to transport that draft beer taste from tap to home. But what happens if you don't finish all 64 ounces at once? The dreaded fizzling out of carbonation, leaving you with flat, leftover, usually expensive beer.

The TapIt Cap just might be the solution. This Kickstarter project not only preserves the integrity of your beer, but also effectively turns your growler into a mini-keg. Check out how it works in the video below.

We really can't see a downside to this product, other than the fact that it isn't in production yet. They are expecting to retail The TapIt Cap for $45 sometime near the end of 2013 it looks like, but there is a $100-impatient-Kickstarter-donor option that will get a prototype shipped to you toute suite. The Kickstarter has to be funded by April 11, 2013 to go into production, and as of the writing of this post, they are less than $10,000 away from their goal.
