Project Rap Rabbit Ditches Xbox, Switch Tier Reduced

The recently announced Kickstarter for Project Rap Rabbit, a game from the chaps behind PaRappa and Gitaroo Man, had some rather large stretch goals with and Xbox One version requiring £3.1 million and the Switch version nearly £5 million.

A new post on the Kickstarter reveals that the team have we’ve listened to your overwhelming requests for a Nintendo Switch version of Project Rap Rabbit,” and have completely revamped the stretch goals.

There are now only two goals, $1.1 million gets the game on PlayStation and PC with six levels, and $1.5 million will ensure the Switch version, a drop of $3.4 million. A stretch goal for Xbox One version will only be considered after the $1.5 million target has been reached, but the  team will be “reaching out to our community” to see if that is what they want.

At the time of writing the Kickstarter has raised £102,353 with the target being £880,000. By the way, I know the currencies for this keep switching around I’m taking the values direct from Kickstarter, £880K is actually closer to $1.2 million using current exchange rates, go figure.
