Kickstarter Makes iPhone Case With Android Operating System

Um, hold the phone. Literally. Thanks to a new Kickstarter by Israeli startup Esti, you might soon be able to coat your iPhone in an Android casing. It solves the problem between having to pick a side, and it'll definitely garner some perplexed stares.

Unbox Therapy got a first look at how it works. First, place your iPhone 7 or 7 Plus into the case. This will activate the design of the phone case, which isn't even a design at all — it's a fully functional Android screen! It has two SIM card slots, 256BG of extra storage, doubled battery life capabilities, a sweet selfie back camera, wireless charging and an infrared remote control. You can even add another two phone numbers to the Android side. At 0.52 inches thick, it's hardly a space waster. Esti alleges the iPhone LCD display is outdated, which is where their active matrix organic light emitting diode (AMOLED) display comes in. There's clearly a market for a jack-of-all-trades case — at the time of publishing, the Kickstarter reached over $629,000 — on a $95,000 goal.

Finally, you'll be able to see firsthand how your friends on Android are interpreting your emojis. Isn't it nice to see devices engaged in an everlasting sibling rivalry coming together to make something so beautiful?
