As the game closes in on the next million dollar mark Mythic Games show off what's on the horizon for Mythic Battles: Pantheon. Leading the way we have Hector, a heroic figure from the Trojan War...

Hector (Model)

He is shown standing proud with sword held high. Despite his unfortunate end he was a legendary commander of astounding skill in commanding soldiers and with his sword.

Hector

Not only does he have a way of controlling the battlefield with Wall of Troy but with Hector's Bravery you can start to 'stack the deck' in your favour, allowing you to charge troops into battle.

Heroes Of Troy

It wasn't just Hector who fought during the Trojan War as Mythic Games has put together a Hero Set which will be available to snap up as an add-on.

Heroes Of The Trojan War Box

A number of different characters are included within this set including the angry Agamemnon, but I picked out two of my favourites with the hulking Ajax...

Ajax

...and the decidedly more lithe looking Penthesilea.

Penthesilea

Ajax is a powerhouse of a warrior looking to crush his foes in battle with that mighty hammer. He can avoid even the most deadly damage that comes his way and if he doesn't slay his foes his shame gets the better of him!

Penthesilea is more of an inspiring leader, giving bonuses to her troops when she fights alongside them. When the Amazon dies she also confers a Mourn Token on the unit that did so. They are negatively effected by this, not being able to retaliate or use powers.

Take To The Skies

The most impressive addition to the collection right now will be Bellerophon who is the next big unlock for the game. See what you think of him atop his winged horse, Pegasus.

Bellerophon #1

Bellerophon #2

He looks fantastic and will be included as a Stretch Goal so that means those who pick up the main pledge will get him included in their bundle.

Bellerophon & Pegasus

Rules-wise he is a deadly warrior who can zip around the tabletop with ease. Pegasus' Grace allows him to avoid getting caught off guard by retaliating enemies and Friend of the Muses means you'll be able to activate him effectively.

What do you think?
