Nodding off to sleep on a flight always sounds like a good idea—until you try and you're almost get whiplash from your body jerking back after your head sinks forward. It's a common and annoying problem, which is why the Nodpod company invented a neck hammock of sorts.

This travel pillow, which straps to your chair, claims to support your neck and head so you can sleep soundly while traveling, according to the company's Kickstarter page.

The patented design positions your body in a 90-degree angle, resembling how you would naturally sleep in a bed, so your body doesn't drift onto other passengers or fall forward while you rest. The $25 pillow comes in a water-repellent material (perfect for droolers) and features a cord that unsnaps when it detects sudden impact.

The popular product has already surpassed its $20,000 fundraising goal, and raised a whooping $138,684—meaning, people are on board with this idea. If you're interested in buying it for your next long flight, you can order one through Kickstarter.
