Smartwatches have definitely evolved over time, from being geeky-looking electronics strapped to our wrist, to elegant timepieces. Now if you’re in the market for a classy-looking smartwatch, you might be interested to learn about the Henlen smartwatch who has recently launched a Kickstarter campaign to help raise funds for itself.
So what makes the watch so different? First of all, it comes with interchangeable cases, meaning that swapping between bands is as easy as popping out the main timepiece and putting it into another body, so no more fiddling around with trying to get the bands off one by one. Secondly, while the watch is powered by Android Wear, the folks at Henlen decided to put their own spin on it.
Basically they have tweaked its UI to provide quick and concise information at a glance, after which you’re welcome to dive deeper if that’s what you’re after. According to its creators, “We believe that you should never spend more than 3 seconds to access the information you need throughout your busy day. With precision in mind, all relevant information are no more than a swipe and click away. Our watches ensure you spend your day in the real world, not the digital one.”
That being said, smartwatches are pretty much a dime a dozen these days, but if the Henlen has managed to catch your attention, maybe you might want to consider helping fund it.
