If you love the photos you can take with a selfie stick, but are too embarrassed to be seen carrying one around, this could be the iPhone case for you.

Stikbox is the first full-length selfie stick to be built into an iPhone case, so you can extend it when you need to use it, and fold it up neatly when you don't.

The nifty device measures 14.5 x 7.5 x 1.7cm and weighs 130g. The in-built selfie stick can extend out to a length of 72cm, and can easily be rotated and adjusted to get the perfect angle.

Stikbox is still a prototype, but the company that created it launched a Kickstarter campaign this week, in the hope of raising £33,000 to ramp up production.

"The idea for Stikbox came to me when I was walking in the market and saw a shop selling selfie sticks next to smartphone cases. Why carry two things when you can carry one?" said founder and CEO Yekutiel Sherman.

"We just finished the design and are now ready for production."

The case is available in seven different colours and fits all the sizes of iPhone 6. It also doubles as a kickstand.

Shipping is expected for May 2016 and, if the campaign is a success, the retail price will be £39. However, anyone who backs the Kickstarter campaign will be able to get one for as little as £19.

With 38 days to go, StikBox has already garnered the support of 113 backers and raised almost £6,000. If selfies stick in an iPhone case is the answer to all your prayers, you can back the campaign here .
