"Comcept and our partners at Inti Creates and Deep Silver have been hard at work clearing up any remaining issues with the online modes included in Mighty No. 9," the Mighty No. 9 team said in a Kickstarter update.

"We are looking forward to delivering this game to our fans, especially all of our backers! Thanks again for all of your support and patience!"

Mighty No. 9 was originally scheduled to launch in May, which marks a total of two delays to date.

Inspired by Keiji Inafune's Mega Man series, the game revolves around a powerful robot that must run, jump and blast his way through stages using weapons and abilities stolen from enemies.

It is in development for a number of platforms, including PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.
