Purrfectly Ever After is an upcoming otome game by the new indie visual novel developer Weeev. It will be voiced throughout so I’m sure we will all enjoy it! The demo is already out so check out the links at the end of this review to be able to play! As for the prices, it will be like in Voltage, USD$3.99 for the main story and USD$1.99 for the epilogue.

The game is about a burglar cat (you) that’s being chased by the police. In the process of escaping from the ones chasing her, she meets not just one but four kind men who is intent on helping her in their own simple ways. In addition to the four men, Kale is a ramen seller that she already knows. So, after successfully running away from the policemen, she just suddenly thinks of becoming a human so that she can stop stealing and start earning honest money to buy what she wants. When it comes true, with whom does she go to for help?

Characters: As I already stated above, there will be 5 characters that are romance-able. And if the whole game is successfully funded, they will add a hidden 6th character, look forward to that!

Graphics: Everything is just purrfect as the ‘cat’ me would say. I love all the characters and every detail of the background. I also like the idea of having an image for this MC it makes me believe it’s real.

Writing: Though there was a few misspelled words, the writing is very good and I liked how everything is placed and timed!

Voice Acting: The voice acting! This is just the best! Though of course it’s in Japanese, I still enjoy listening to it while playing. And even with just their voices, you can understand a bit of their personality so that’s also good.

BGM: The BGM completely describes the situation you’re in. With the little time I played (since it’s just the prologue), I already know that everything will be in place.

For the characters in the game, the last choice, Kale, is the most interesting for me! Since we already know each other and well I’d very much like to see how he reacts when I say “Hey! I’m that cat you’ve been so kind to and I need your help again. Please give me clothes!”

It’s obvious that even though it’s just a small part compared to the main story, they’ve spent a lot of time putting all of this together. I hope that my little review encouraged you to try this visual novel out!
