Jurassic world fared well at the box office, but now three Kansans are looking for their own dino fame — on the small screen.

A group of filmmakers is putting together a reality show called “Dino Might.” It follows three fossil hunters from Kansas as they search for the state fossil: the pteranodon.

“A lot of times you just see the fossils in museums, you don’t know the story behind how they were found,” said Tyler Mleynek, one of the filmmakers. “So with this, you’re going to see everything.”

The price tag to get the project off the ground is about $15,000. Mleynek hopes to raise that through the crowd-funding site Kickstarter.

Once the first episode is produced, the team will look to sell the series to TV networks.
