New MMO Crowfall Kickstarter ends at $1.8 million

Fresh MMO Crowfall's Kickstarter campaign has ended after 30 days, with the fledgling title managing to pull in $1,766,204 from 16,936 backers.

Starting out with a goal of $800,000 on February 24, Crowfall hit this goal within four days of launching its campaign. A number of stretch goals followed.

The success of the campaign makes Crowfall the 15th most-successful video game Kickstarter of all time, and the 46th most-successful across all categories.

For a full list of what stretch goals were unlocked, or to continue to donate despite the end of the campaign, head to the MMO's official site. Crowfall is a new PC-only MMO that describes itself as being "like Game of Thrones meets Eve Online." It's got quite a few exciting and ambitious new ideas, which you can read about in the initial announcement.
