She must be a fan! Katy Perry 'donates $5k to TLC's Kickstarter campaign funding duo's last and final album'

The R&B group TLC is trying to raise $150,000 to make what they call their 'last and final album.'

Katy Perry just gave the two remaining members T-Boz, 44, and Chilli, 43, a hefty boost by reportedly pledging $5,000 to the cause.

Thanks to the 30-year-old Roar singer, TLC is now just $44,000 short of their monetary goal, TMZ is reporting.

And for Katy's generous backing, her reward will be a slumber party with T-Boz, whose full name is Tionne Watkins, and up to four other lucky fans.

'Get ready to stay up late with T-BOZ,' the singer promised on TLC's Kickstarter page. 'We'll put on our jammies, order some late night snacks, have some #TLCPillowTalk.

'Mom and Dad won't be there, so there's no need to keep the volume down.'

Amazing! To date, the iconic girl band has raised well over $560,000

Katy will also get an armful of other gifts including a TLC scrapbook, dance school and a list of the singing duo's favourite songs among other tidbits.

'We wouldn’t dream of making our final album with anyone BUT our fans. Come on y'all, BE A PART OF TLC HISTORY!' the duo wrote on Kickstarter, which goes through February 19.

'We owe so much of our success to you. Your loyalty and support throughout the past 20 years motivates us to do our best work.

'Without you, we wouldn't have ten top 10 singles and four number 1 singles. We wouldn't have won five Grammy awards or sold 65 million records worldwide. Without you, we wouldn't have become the most successful girl group of all time! Without you there would be no TLC!!

This album, our FINAL ALBUM, is dedicated to all of you that have stuck with us, always challenging us to do our best. And of course, it’s for the new fans too! ;) We just want to put out great music that touches everyone. That’s it.'
