ForeverSpin Returns to Kickstarter For Second Campaign Within 12 Months; Scores Over $300,000

ForeverSpin 2

Canadian startup, ForeverSpin, is back on Kickstarter – and en route to another successful campaign! After breaking records earlier this year, the Toronto-based company has released a new line of metal spinning tops. This time around, ForeverSpin™ surpassed $300,000 and achieved over 6000% of its initial funding goal.

ForeverSpin 4In a world obsessed with gadgets and technology, ForeverSpin brings people the simple pleasure of the world’s oldest toy. The Toronto-based company invites everyone to experience the beauty and simplicity of a spinning top, “a real interaction.”

Based on the design of a ceramic top found at Troy and dating from 3000 B.C. ForeverSpin™ products are a modern take on an ancient classic. Similar designs have been portrayed on popular culture, such as the blockbuster movie “Inception”.

ForeverSpin Tops are cut with unbelievable precision in Canada on a CNC-lathe, with each top hand-inspected to ensure that only flawless pieces receive a unique serial number and the ForeverSpin™ name. The MetalMuseum collection gives backers the option of choosing from 10 different metals – including a 24kt gold-plated version and even a Tungsten top. The MetalMuseum serves as an educational item and a piece of art that can be enjoyed from children to adults.

These tops are fun to use, terrific as a desktop toy or stress-reliever, great educational items, a tool for brainstorming and a Canadian success story. The new tops will soon be on their way to retail shelves, executive boardrooms, and schools around the globe. Each ForeverSpin™ product is designed to last forever, “buy once and keep it forever”. For that reason they are great gifts for any occasion. Pledges start at $28 for the most popular Spinning Top (Stainless Steel) and run to $485 for the complete MetalMuseum collection.

ForeverSpin 1ForeverSpin is a Canadian brand dedicated to manufacturing and marketing the world’s finest spinning tops. Founder Chris Rosales aimed to raise $1,500 on Kickstarter back in March. That campaign closed at 9,000% of the original goal and $130,000 in funding – becoming the most-funded spinning top project on the Internet.
