The man who led England to a World Cup semi-final is back in the Three Lions hot seat, and you can check it out in the new trailer.

Mike Bassett returns to the England fold as Mike Bassett: Interim Manager, following the resignation of Jorgen Mannstein (a talented German coach who actually has England winning games!)

With no time ahead of a major tournament, Bassett takes charge, surrounded by Mannstein's German staff and has some wise words for his players: "Just f***ing welly it will ya!"

Bassett's return is the sequel to cult football film Mike Bassett: England Manager, and once again stars Ricky Tomlinson in the title role.

Directed by Steve Barron (Mike Bassett, Coneheads, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) and produced by Leo Pearlman for Fulwell 73 (Class of '92, One Direction: This Is Us), the film sees Bassett - having fallen on hard times after a series of ill-advised and hilarious career moves - back leading his country.

The film is due to start filming in March next year, with an anticipated release of February 2016.

It is being part-funded by crowd-funding site Kickstarter where fans can donate to the film and get amazing prizes in return.

For example £1,500 guarantees you a role as an extra in the film, £5,000 could get your company advertised in the film and £10 can get your name on the credits.

This is the first recognisable UK film looking to fund via Kickstarter and has already raised a record £80,000. However, the film needs a further £170,000 by November 20th to be made.

The Kickstarter period is for a limited time only, finishing on November 20th. To get involved, simply head to www.kickstarter.com and search 'Mike Bassett'.
