Coffee Maker Arist Hits Kickstarter to Become the Ultimate Coffee Maker; Reaches Over $14,000 First Few Hours

Ready to challenge baristas from all over the world, the creators of the coffee maker, Arist, launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter to raise $120,000.

Arist 5According to the campaign’s website, the Arist is considered the “first ever” coffee maker that provides complete control over every single step in the brewing process, from adjusting the grind size to fine-tuning the pressure. This allows the coffee maker to recreate the fine “craftsmanship” you enjoy from your favorite barista.

The Arist also simplifies the coffee making process with an easy-to-use smartphone app. Thanks to the app, the coffee maker knows you and your favorite cup of brew! It recalls your preferences and your particular drinking habits and can make tailored recommendations. Arist completely understands your desires and even predicts what coffee you want and when.

Besides the app, Arist also recognizes your cup through NFC technology. You also do not need to use a smartphone in order to enjoy the coffee maker. You can brew your default setting without having to use your phone.

Explaining further how the Arist works, the team stated, “Upon our discovery that every bean deserves a specific way to extract the best out of it, it no longer made sense to us to use a generic machine that brews every kind of bean with the same methods.

“Given that every type of bean requires a specific configuration of each brew step, Arist is designed to adjust each step in the brewing process to brew coffee based on your preferences and bring out the best of each bean.”

Arist aims to fully empower coffee lovers so that they have complete control over their brew. If you are a barista, we want to spread your craft to new audiences. If you just love coffee, we want to develop a comprehensive understanding of your preferences so we can deliver the world’s best coffee.”

Since its launch this morning (October 24th), the project has already raised $14,829 from 46 backers. It is set to close on November 23rd.
