The Koala Case is very different from most iPhone cases; it has a minimalist design, allowing the timeless iPhone design to shine through while still protecting your phone from drops. The Koala Case clips onto the corners of your iPhone while crossing the back in an X shape with its unibody design. The Koala Case is now campaigning on Kickstarter.

Koala Case Cover

Made out of aircraft aluminum and soft TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane), the Koala Case is designed to protect your phone from all sorts of drops, while enhancing, rather than detracting from the iPhone’s own design. The TPU can be created using any color imaginable, allowing you to customize your Koala Case to suit your tastes.

The Koala Case will not hinder your phone’s cellular or WiFi reception, which is common with metal iPhone cases, because this case does not cover any of the phone’s antennae.  The case itself is also super lightweight, weighing a mere 5.65 grams!

Koala Case 2

Right now, for only $29, you can pledge your support to the Koala Case by pre-ordering one set of TPU corners in your choice of five colors plus one set of special Kickstarter green corners.

For $45, you can preorder yours for the upcoming iPhone 6. Although Apple hasn’t officially announced the iPhone 6 yet, these guys have designed a case that will fit the rumored new 4.7” iPhone 6.

If you’re a fan of minimalist design, like I am, you’ve got to check out the Koala Case Kickstarter campaign. You can view their Kickstarter promo video, below.

I'm an architect by trade, but the overarching theme of my life has always been trying to keep up with the newest, coolest technology. Ever since I picked up an NES controller, I've been hooked on the latest and greatest gadgets, gizmos, and toys. Whether it's gaming, mobile phones, and accessories, or PCs and Apple products, I'm interested. I use many Apple products in my daily life, such as the iPhone, iPad, and my MacBook Pro. I've also built a few PCs in my day, so I'd like to say that I'm a pretty well-rounded techie.
