DGS Games: The Kuzaarik Forgers kickstarter ends at Midnight Tuesday June 17th. The project reached it’s funding goal Saturday night is now aiming for it’s first stretch goal. So backers will receive their new Kuzaarik figures in November of 2014. With two previous funded kickstarters under their belts, the men and women at DGS Games have successfully delivered rewards on time 100% of the time, and there is every reason to expect them to do the same this time.
You can follow the progress of their first sculpt of this project – The Forge Warden – from concept art to original sculpt photo and a 360’ video of the sculpt. In these final days, DGS has added a number of items in recognition of being funded to help get to their stretch goals.
In addition to treasure markers, a campaign map, and artwork; DGS just added a Demon Infestation Pack. Add a Demon Infestation Pack (4 Plakhra, and 1 Alpha Plakhra) to any reward...increase your backing by $25 above any reward already selected. This add-on provides the models to play the Demon Infestation Scenario from the core rulebook.Miniatures supplied unpainted.
1st Stretch Goal – Wayblocker at $10,000 - So how about getting a look at our 1st Stretch Goal? Backers that pledged $75+ will get one for free. Anyone can add one (or more) to their Rewards by increasing their pledge by $6 for each one that want to add. Wayblocker - Mostly comprised of younger Kuzaarik fulfilling their mandatory military service requirement, the Wayblocker formations are the heart of the Kuzaarik military force. The weapons and armor issued to the young warriors are theirs for life. They must be maintained and returned to the State by the family upon the death of the warrior. Agents of the PDC keep a close eye on these formations both in peace and during times of war. Determinations made by the PDC Monitors can affect a young Kuzaarik for the rest of their lives.
2nd Stretch Goal – Grenadier at $11,500 - Grenadier - As the Great Cities became Lost, the Kuzaarik Military was forced to turn to more extreme measures to ensure the safety of the realm. Technologies previous labeled unsafe were revisited. Out of that desperation came the Grenadiers. Capable of lobbing explosive projectiles packed with crystal fletchettes, the Vranshars of the Grenadiers proved able to break up the strongest enemy formations. The Grenadier has a medium range indirect fire capability. The Grenadier fills the 6th hero slot for the Kuzaarik Freeband and backers who pledge more than $60 will get 1 free (may also be selected as an Add-on for $6).
