Asylum launches Kickstarter to fund final months of development

Senscape's four year journey with Asylum is nearly complete, and the Argentinian developer is asking for $100,000 to get it over the finish line.

Asylum was in the last batch of titles given the nod by Steam Greenlight and Senscape said in a
press release that the surge in popularity this brought about partially inspired its crowdfunding attempt. In response to fan requests, one of the reward tiers is a chance to be featured in-game.

“The number one request from fans has been that they want to become part of this engrossing setting we have created, and we have listened," project lead Agustín Cordes said.

Cordes' past work include the cult-favourite horror scratches. "$100,000 in return for a lifetime of nightmares," he added in the pitch video.

Asylum is expected on Linux, Mac and PC in March. It will release in a DRM-free form, too.
