Following the major news that Facebook had bought out Oculus, we’ve now learned of the first entity that intends on buying the VR headset developer back. The company in question is none other than one-man indie outfit Twinbeard Studios.

Run by developer Jim Crawford, Twinbeard is responsible for the insanely hilarious and massively joyous Frog Fractions. The game’s sequel, which may or may not be called Frog Fractions 2, is currently seeking funds on Kickstarter.

While the game’s crowdfunding campaign may be asking for $60,000 in pledges, a new stretch goal of $2 billion appeared on the page. The purpose of this goal isn’t to add some wacky new feature or component to the game, though. Instead, should Frog Fractions 2 accrue $2 billion in pledges, Twinbeard will attempt to buy back Oculus.

It’s a bit of a funny thing to do, and it’s totally something that Twinbeard would go for. It’s unlikely that the Frog Fractions 2 Kickstarter campaign will amass that much dough, but still, you have to admire the dev — whether Crawford’s serious or just being his usual offbeat self.

Personally, I’d love to see it happen. And heck, Frog Fractions 2 is already at $45,000. Almost there!
