book of unwritten tales2Generally speaking we try and post about noteworthy crowdfunding campaigns within a few days of their launch, we want you to be able to get in early and decide whether to jump on any early bird specials and such.  However, sometimes no matter how quickly we get on something it seems like the world already knows about it.  Take The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 for example.  The Kickstarter campaign for the sequel to the popular 2012 adventure game started barely 24 hours ago.  The hook from the developers at King Art Games is that the game is coming out, they’ve already got funding, but they want some additional cash to help make their new adventure title even better.  With the Kickstarter money they plan on implementing something called Projection-Mapping, a process that allows for more dynamic feeling environments.  How much do they want to make this happen?  $65,000.  How much have they raised a mere 24 hours after launching?  $71,327, from 1,349 backers.  The fun to use, if not necessarily scientifically accurate, Kicktraq has the campaign trending towards $1.45Mil.  While it’s doubtful it’ll reach that level, it would appear as though the team better start thinking of more stretch goals.

The Kickstarter campaign for The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 runs until March 23rd.
