Best of Kickstarter: Kung Fury

kungfury-film

David Sandberg’s over the top 1980’s action cop movie “Kung Fury” went up on Kickstarter a couple days ago and has already raised over $280,000. The film is about a cop who goes back in time to kill the most dangerous kung fu master, Adolf Hitler (naturally).

David and his friends live in Sweden and have shot most of their film, set in 1980’s Miami, in their tiny studio. They’ve gone to comical lengths to stretch their minuscule budget, for example they could only afford one police uniform so they had to shoot every extra separately.

Watch the amazing trailer below, the time travel sequence is what sold me on this movie.
