Uber's Planetary Annihilation to be distributed by Nordic Games

Planetary Annihilation, Uber Entertainment's Kickstarter-funded real-time strategy game, will be distributed by Nordic Games both digitally and at retail, the companies announced today.

Uber is partnering with Nordic exclusively for the retail version of the game. Nordic will help Uber deliver "some very special retail SKUs for the hardcore fan," said Klemens Kreuzer, Nordic managing director, in a press release today. The company will also provide Uber with some assistance for digital distribution, although that is a non-exclusive arrangement.

In Planetary Annihilation, players colonize solar systems and tear up planets in massive multiplayer battles. Uber is currently running a beta for the game on Windows PC, Mac and Linux, and plans to release it only "when it's done."
